For the purposes of development of perspective and up-to-date materials a/s “Baltijas Gumijas Fabrika” has mastered manufacture of rubber compounds on the basis of silicone rubber and has launched manufacturing of rubber technical articles from silicone rubber.
First of all it is engendered by expansion in consumption of "extreme" rubber technical articles and their application in high-quality and exclusive goods.

Silicone rubber and articles from such rubber have following advantages:
• Stability to extreme temperatures from - 60°С to + 275°С. Special kinds is applicable at the temperature to - 100°С. High strength and longevity does not depend on a temperature range.
• Good dielectric properties. It exceed isolation properties of traditional materials even at temperatures above + 100°С. After a burning there is a film of SiO2 ensuring the electrical isolation.
• Stability to a corona discharge and electrical arc.
• Stability to action of solutions of the salts, boiling water, alcohols, phenols, mineral oils, weak acid and alkalescence, and also to hydrogen peroxide.
• Stability to atmospheric action, sea-water and ozone.
